Natalie Adamson, originally from London, has been living in Dundee, Scotland, for the last 10 years after completing an English and Psychology degree at the University of Dundee in 2013. She volunteered for a children, youth and family charity called ‘The Attic’ with the heart to support the community, having benefited from similar organizations as a young person herself. In the role of project worker, Natalie ran various groups including an adult IT class, adult nutrition course, kids’ club, youth-group, teen leadership courses and a parent/toddler morning. These experiences strengthened her passion and joy for working with young people, and prompted her to study education at the University of Aberdeen. Natalie is currently a full-time English teacher art a high school in Angus, Scotland and in the process of completing her Masters in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh. Her love for creative writing as a powerful emotional outlet, way to explore the world and understand different perspectives inspired her vision for this journal.
